Why did I started this blog?

Disheartened by the lack of enough action for climate change, MINDFUL SAVERS by Jyotsna became a platform that focuses on Zero- Waste living, Permaculture and Natural Buildings.

I am dedicated to providing you with the tools, tips, and resources you need to minimize waste in your daily life and embrace sustainable living through straightforward steps. Dive into a world of solutions aimed at addressing both environmental and societal challenges, empowering you to take meaningful action.

Explore opportunities for volunteering, engaging in courses, and becoming an integral part of our community dedicated to creating positive change. Join us as we navigate the journey towards a more sustainable future together.

We don’t need a few people doing Zero-Waste, Permaculture or Natural Building perfectly. We need billions of people doing it imperfectly!

I Love working in the field of Sustainabilty and Permaculture

I am deeply passionate about working in sustainability. For me, it’s not just a career path; it’s a profound commitment to making a positive impact on our planet and future generations. Every day, I am energized by the opportunity to contribute towards creating a more sustainable world, whether it’s through advocating for eco-friendly practices, implementing renewable energy solutions, or promoting conservation efforts. Sustainability is not just a goal; it’s a way of life that resonates with my values and inspires me to continuously seek innovative ways to protect and preserve our environment.

My Journey

I am proudly embracing my identity as a neurodivergent, ADHD and autistic. With a myriad of interests and passions, I juggle roles as a Gemologist, blogger, Environmentalist, Permaculture Designer, and aspiring Natural Builder.

I’m a firm believer in the transformative power of awareness and action. I advocate for change with compassion, a caring heart, and a commitment to humanity, firmly believing in limitless possibilities.

My journey began with a pivotal moment sparked by a climate change video, leading me to delve deep into sustainability and conscious living. Transitioning to veganism in 2020 and discovering Permaculture connected all the dots for me. A diagnosis of autism in 2021 provided newfound confidence and acceptance, starting my solo travels and volunteer work in Permaculture farms in Himachal.

By immersing myself in natural building courses and Permaculture projects, I found purpose in addressing societal issues. Also, Inspired by my childhood Farm memories in Ludhiana, Punjab, I strive to combat environmental degradation and promote indigenous knowledge.

My vision encompasses establishing a collaborative community space in Punjab for sustainable living, bridging gaps between farmers, corporations, businesses, and the local community. Together, we can create a harmonious ecosystem benefiting all.

I started a community group as “Ekam Jadhas” for the purpose of growing the movement in Punjab by collaborations, networking and volunteering opportunities. So if you are from Punjab and would like to be a part of the group, send me a Hi in my mail through contact page and introduce yourself!
